At Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa, we are dedicated to continuously enhancing the accessibility of our hotel, facilities, and overall guest experience. Our commitment to constant improvement drives us to implement new procedures and upgrade our facilities, ensuring that our environment is inclusive. With our fully accessible Meeting Rooms and easily accessible facilities, we strive to make every guest feel at ease while enjoying our resort amenities.
All golf views and lagoons have lifts available which makes the property more accessible for guests. As well as disabled parking spaces. Guests are able to get this information prior to booking through the ALL website as well as our own website.
We also have signs in the lobbys and lifts which have brail on them. Our main reception and restaurant very accessible. With fully lit wide open space and an accessible toilet available. We also have conference room which are wheelchair friendly.

Our rooms feature a spacious design to make your tropical staycation comfortable and most importantly accessible. All rooms feature a spacious bathroom, modern facilities and are available for your accessible stay in Port Douglas.
Our 1- and 2-bedroom apartments include generous living & dining as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
The rooms are fitted with features that especially cater for our guests in wheelchairs:

OUR GREEN CERTIFICATIONS
We are in the process to be officially “Sustainable Tourism” Certified by Ecotourism Australia. This certification means that Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa will be a ‘sustainably focused resort that meets international best-practice sustainability standards against environmental, social, cultural and sustainable management pillars.’
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
- The resort offers a range of eco-adventure activities via the tour desk in the lobby, such as guided hikes, bird-watching tours, and snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. These experiences educate visitors about the importance of preserving this fragile ecosystem.
- As part of our initiative to reduce single-use plastics throughout the entire guest experience, we have made a significant decision to eliminate single-use dry amenities, taking a bold step towards a plastic-free environment. We understand the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. By removing single-use plastic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, we are significantly reducing our environmental footprint. We have also made a noteworthy change to incorporate large format amenities including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, thereby resulting in a waste reduction of almost 50%.
- We exclusively use room key cards that are made of bamboo.
- As a part of our commitment to a sustainable future, Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa has removed all single use plastic from our Restaurant and Bar. As well as adding water stations so guests are able to refill water bottles.
- The resort’s restaurants prioritize locally sourced, organic ingredients to reduce food miles and support local farmers.
- In room educational materials promoting towel & bedding reuse, as well as guidance on responsible use of amenities and our sustainable room credit incentive.
